  • May 29-30 - Tania co-chairs the Rutgers i3D Symposium on immune and metabolic responses to pathogens and other insults, featuring both local and international speakers.

  • May 27 - Dr. Ariful Islam joins the lab as a Research Associate, bringing expertise in spatial metabolite imaging gained during his time in Dr. Mitsutoshi Setou’s lab at Hamamatsu University School of Medicine in Japan.

  • May 16-21 - Ridhima attends the American Thoracic Society Conference in San Francisco and presents a poster.

  • May 3-7 - Tania and Ridhima attend the Immunology 2025 conference (American Association of Immunologists, AAI) in Honolulu, Hawaii; Ridhima presents a poster and Tania gives a short talk

  • April 21 - Eric Tang joins us as a rotation PhD student.

  • April 12 - Tania presents at the European Society of
 Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases (ESCMID) Global conference in Vienna, Austria.

  • April 3 - Tania presents at KlebClub 2025 (virtual conference).

  • November 21 - Dr. Wong attends the first Klebsiella Epidemiology and Biology Symposium at the Pasteur Institute in Paris, France (poster presentation).

  • October 22-24 - Dr. Wadhwa attends training provided by Sable Systems on the mouse metabolic cage system in Las Vegas.

  • October 15 - The DESI Synapt XS (Waters) spatial metabolite imaging system is now installed and the Wong team receives familiarization training.

  • September 23 - Dr. Ridhima Wadhwa (from UTS, Sydney) joins the lab as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow!

  • August 29 - Dr. Wong presents at the Peter Doherty Institute for Infection and Immunity in Melbourne, Australia.

  • August 28 - Dr. Wong presents at the Hudson Institute of Medical Research in Melbourne, Australia.

  • August 21 - Dr. Wong presents at the 19th International Symposium on Staphylococci and Staphylococcal infections in Perth, Australia.
